From its official changelog you can now do the following;
- You can now edit your profile picture
- You can now change your cover photo
- You can now view message as threaded comments
- Reply to comment has been added
- Album comment functionality
- Create new album via post composer
- News feed improvement (it does not redirect to browser if you are commenting or viewing a comment in a secret group)
- Contact Sync improvement
- Date & Time localization improvements
- Stability improvements
- Improvements for Continuum
- Bug fixes.
In my experience, the latest version of Facebook beta is much faster and it doesn't crash often. The app sometimes freeze when it is loading thousands of comments and even crashes. Uploading picture is much better unlike the version in Windows 8.1 which is a horrible experience when uploading a picture or a video.
You can now upload even if you leave within the app. If you are still on Windows Phone 8.1 you can't do this, uploading picture in Windows Phone 8.1 will give you headaches :D.
Expect to see this on stable branch in a couple of months. Or even SOON :D
